Meet Kid's Meals
Kid’s Meals' mission is to end child hunger by delivering free, healthy meals to the doorsteps of Greater Houston's hungriest preschool-aged children and, through collaboration, provide their families with resources to help end the cycle of poverty.

Chapelwood's Foundation Impact
The Chapelwood Foundation supported Kids’ Meals with a grant for its Healthy Meal Delivery Program, which averages $2 per meal and provides over 2,500 meals to food-insecure children in the Greater Houston area.
Kid's Meals' Story
The meal delivery program began in 2006 with two delivery vans and has grown into a fleet of 23, sharing not just nutritious food but also connection through collaborative wraparound service partners who help families break the cycle of poverty. They now stand on 19 years of operating in the greater Houston area, upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethics. In those years, they made and delivered more than 18 million meals to the area’s hungriest children in Greater Houston.
Kid’s Meals’ mission goes beyond delivering meals. They aim to empower families to break the cycle of poverty. Their Hope Providers play a vital role in this effort. Driving the same routes each day, they build meaningful relationships with families, fostering trust and understanding. These relationships often open the door for families to share personal struggles, like finding a stable home, securing employment, or simply making ends meet. Through their collaborative partnerships, Kid’s Meals can provide valuable resources beyond meals, such as ESL classes, rental assistance, clothing, financial literacy, job training, and more.
